Soak in the biographical, whimsical world of Skin, where all are welcome: the tall, short, plump and thin…
Jessica Blane was a girl who would lock herself in her room: an endless world of fantasy, fame and shimmering beauty. When she ventured outside of her room and into the “real” world, Jessica was taught to look in the mirror and hate herself.
Throughout her life Miss Blane slowly spiraled into a deep, dark, savory chocolate pit of despair. Enveloped by a river of sugary bliss, then later torture, Miss Blane went to seek the help of a community of women who have suffered from a similar addiction: food, &/or lack of food.
Will Jessica build the courage to face herself in the mirror? Will she find the soul that is buried deep within the crevasses of her plump flesh? Will she learn to love the skin that she lives in?
With a strong cast, moving music and seductive movement come and see the answers revealed. Caution: Dancing Chocolate bar may penetrate your soul with desire and ecstasy.
